Tool_Storage_Box‘Pharmachine’ has recently introduced a modern Tool Storage Box that is made from Polypropylene which is known for its high strength. The biggest advantage of this new Tool Storage Box is safety and hygiene.

Pharmachine Tool Storage Box has standard dimensions of 18” x 10” x 7.5” (L x W x H) approx., that can house either 24 sets of ‘D’ Tooling or 36 sets of ‘B/BB’ Tooling and are very economical in comparison with Stainless Steel Storage Cabinets. These Storage Boxes provide great flexibility because you can either store D or B/BB tooling by just changing the inside trays.

Pharmachine Tool Storage Box has an in-built recess for operator to lift the box easily and the edges are smooth and rounded without any sharp corners. Multiple Storage Boxes can be stacked one over the other, saving floor space. So, several boxes of Punches and Dies can be stored inside the Tablet Compression room that is meant for a specified tablet or a group of products, giving significant logistical advantage.

The Punches & Dies are safe inside the Storage Box as each item is kept in its own slot/hole and there is sufficient gap between each Punch such that they do not collide. The Tray also has serial numbers on each hole for identification of Punch numbers corresponding to the Turret pocket numbers. The special head support design facilitates easy removal of the Punch from the tray.

Ultrasonic Punch and Die Cleaning Machine

The biggest advantage of Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine is not only automation of the Tooling cleaning activity but also ensuring an absolutely reliable cleaning of the Toolings due to the absence of need for special operator skill. The intricate part of the Punch and internal crevices like Punch tip, Punch embossing and Punch keyways where powders normally stick are automatically cleaned through the Ultrasonic bubbles. Die bore also does not require any scrubbing because the Ultrasonic bubbles easily take away sticky powders without manual intervention.

Manual cleaning which is very laborious as well as time consuming can be totally eliminated because the “Ultrasonic cleaning process” makes the Tool cleaning procedure streamlined due to process standardization.

Another critical or key factor of “Ultrasonic cleaning process” is the minimization if not total elimination of Tool damage, making recovery of capital cost of the machine very easy in the long run as the risk of Tool damage and non-consistency of Tool cleaning becomes very high when manual Tool cleaning is performed leading to product contamination by way of chipped metal or black/grey particle present inside Tablets which causes product call back from the market.

The Ultrasonic Machine consists of a 45 liter tank made of cavitation-proof stainless steel and the floor of the tank is slanted to facilitate easy draining of the cleaning liquid. The machine is provided with temperature controller and timer controller and can be operated with single phase 230 Volts electric power supply.

The Ultrasonic cleaning takes place due to cavitation bubbles induced by high frequency pressure (sound waves) to agitate the cleaning liquid. The agitation produces high forces on contaminants adhering to intricate part of the Toolings, making the liquid penetrate holes or recesses.

Pharmachine offers Dust Cups and Bellows made of food grade silicon rubber which are flexible and wear-resistant. When Bellows are fitted on the Upper Punches it prevents depositing of powder dust on the barrel of the Punches thereby reducing the friction on the constantly moving Punches, in turn enhancing lubrication and performance of the Tablet Compression Machine. The Bellows also help reduce the cleaning frequency of the Toolings.

Fitting the Dust Cups to the Upper Punches prevent seepage of lubricant materials and block the deposition of black particles, if any, on Tablets residing inside the Dies thereby enhancing the quality of production from the Tablet Compression Machine. The Dust Cups and Bellows can be easily cleaned with soap and water and dried in ambient temperature.

DO NOT USE Isopropyl Alcohol and hot air for cleaning and drying of Dust Cups and Bellows.

Pharmachine Tool Storage Box has standard dimensions of 18” x 10” x 7.5” (L x W x H) approx., that can house either 24 sets of ‘D’ Tooling or 36 sets of ‘B/BB’ Tooling and are very economical in comparison with Stainless Steel Storage Cabinets. These Storage Boxes provide great flexibility because you can either store D or B/BB tooling by just changing the inside trays.

Pharmachine Tool Storage Box has an in-built recess for operator to lift the box easily and the edges are smooth and rounded without any sharp corners. Multiple Storage Boxes can be stacked one over the other, saving floor space. So, several boxes of Punches and Dies can be stored inside the Tablet Compression room that is meant for a specified tablet or a group of products, giving significant logistical advantage.

The Punches & Dies are safe inside the Storage Box as each item is kept in its own slot/hole and there is sufficient gap between each Punch such that they do not collide. The Tray also has serial numbers on each hole for identification of Punch numbers corresponding to the Turret pocket numbers. The special head support design facilitates easy removal of the Punch from the tray.

The empty boxes are very easy to clean and can be easily nested over one other.

Ultrasonic Punch and Die Cleaning Machine

The biggest advantage of Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine is not only automation of the Tooling cleaning activity but also ensuring an absolutely reliable cleaning of the Toolings due to the absence of need for special operator skill. The intricate part of the Punch and internal crevices like Punch tip, Punch embossing and Punch keyways where powders normally stick are automatically cleaned through the Ultrasonic bubbles. Die bore also does not require any scrubbing because the Ultrasonic bubbles easily take away sticky powders without manual intervention.

Manual cleaning which is very laborious as well as time consuming can be totally eliminated because the “Ultrasonic cleaning process” makes the Tool cleaning procedure streamlined due to process standardization.

Another critical or key factor of “Ultrasonic cleaning process” is the minimization if not total elimination of Tool damage, making recovery of capital cost of the machine very easy in the long run as the risk of Tool damage and non-consistency of Tool cleaning becomes very high when manual Tool cleaning is performed leading to product contamination by way of chipped metal or black/grey particle present inside Tablets which causes product call back from the market.

The Ultrasonic Machine consists of a 45 liter tank made of cavitation-proof stainless steel and the floor of the tank is slanted to facilitate easy draining of the cleaning liquid. The machine is provided with temperature controller and timer controller and can be operated with single phase 230 Volts electric power supply.

The Ultrasonic cleaning takes place due to cavitation bubbles induced by high frequency pressure (sound waves) to agitate the cleaning liquid. The agitation produces high forces on contaminants adhering to intricate part of the Toolings, making the liquid penetrate holes or recesses.
